Planning for and gaining admission to college can be a confusing and stressful time for students and parents alike. Our expertise is in helping to lift the fog that often surrounds the pre-application and application processes to assist students in gaining access to schools that are best fits for them. We seek to alleviate the stress while building the student's self-confidence.

Our services include:

Pre-Admissions Process Guidance

• Advising high school students regarding courses that will strengthen their transcripts and increase their chances of acceptance
• Making recommendations regarding volunteer and summer activities that fit the student’s interest and that assist in making him or her a more well-rounded candidate
• Advising students regarding summer employment opportunities and internships

Guidance During Admissions Process

• In-depth review of the student’s transcript and assessment of his/her interest; preparation of list of target schools based on identified preferences
• Assistance with completion of application materials and feedback regarding personal statements and essays
• Development of timeline to ensure that application materials are submitted prior to deadlines
• Suggestions regarding selections for letters of recommendation
  
• The more information a student has regarding the process, how it works and what to expect, the easier the process becomes for them.

About our Founder

Following his extensive career as a college admissions advisor in the New York City public school system, Dr. Archer recently founded the company to fill the void left by current budget cuts that have reduced many of the services provided by the school systems. Many students no longer have the assistance they need in obtaining information about colleges and universities that may be a fit for them, or help in gaining access to these schools.

Dr. Archer’s background well-equips him for the task. In addition to his extensive training and experience in college admissions, he holds a doctorate in education from Columbia University. He also holds masters degrees in guidance counseling and in teaching. Moreover, he is compassionate about educating America’s youth and in helping them navigate the often times bumpy and scary road toward a college education and a successful career.
